29th September On September 29th, we had an excursion to Tulln so that we meet with the children of Rufus.
At the same time we also visited the Setter dog show.

Rufus' son, FANTASY DREAM IRISH HUNTER OF GREENMORE "DREAMY"
made a sensational hit getting the Reserve CC title amongs 105 entered dogs!
Uniquely three of Rufus's progeny got this title in
2008,
2011 and
2012.
WE HAD AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!
05th March SUPERLATIVE TRIUMPH OF GREATS AND SMALLS! Rufus' 19 progeny is his worthy inheritor, 6 of them make bright hits year by year and this serie of glories does not stop, does not break. Up till now they attended 221 shows in 19 countries, reported by judges of 25 nations. All of them may be proud of their multiple CAC, CACIB, BOB, R.BOG or BOG and the 70 champion titles gained during five years.
Their fame and success is unstoppable, certified by further and further trophies:
- In 2006 BEST IN SHOW WINNER,
- In 2007 two of them JUNIOR EUROPEAN WINNERS at the age of 13
months, RES. BEST IN SHOW and BEST IN SHOW
WINNERS,
- In 2008 RES. EUROPEAN WINNER, and at the age of only
22 months (!) CRUFTS RES. CC and BOB at the EURODOGSHOW,
- In 2009 JUNIOR WORLD WINNER, RES. WORLD WINNER and BEST IN SHOW. - In 2010 they continued and improved on their outstanding achievements by reaching the WORLD WINNER, 2 RES. EUROPEAN WINNER and BEST IN SHOW titles. - In 2011 they uniquely acquired 13 Champions and at the age of only 21 months (!) CRUFTS RES. CC and the TOP IRISH RED AND WHITE SETTER title in Austria.
Six times they earned the BEST IN SHOW and twice the RES. BEST IN SHOW at specialty shows.
At the specialty show in Ascona, Switzerland Meagan went to the triumph of the JUNIOR BEST IN SHOW and the BEST IN SHOW from among 110 entered setters (at the age of only 14 months!).
The flattering Best in Show title was awarded by judges of three nations:
Mr. Guy Kips (Luxembourg), Ms. Bettina Smith-Horn (Germany) and Mr. Alessandro Evangelista (Italy).
It's a twofold speciality as setter has never reached a double win at a professional competition before, at such an early age!
All offspring of the second litter fulfilled the JUNIOR FIELD TRIAL and the FIELD TRIAL "WORKING EXAM TYPE B FOR GUNDOGS", moreover some of them had it at the age of only 12 months.
The fact that they can make their over par achievements and hold on with outstanding results not only in the world of shows but also in work is certified by the first prize taken from a Field Trial held on 27th November, 2010 in Budejevac, amongst 7 Irish setters,
4 English setters and 2 pointers.
All of this has been enhanced by being the TOP IRISH RED AND WHITE SETTERS in four countries in 2010!

PICTURES OF THE PECULIAR LITTLE MIRACLES
The main goal of our kennel remains so that offspings of our dogs be surrounded by a happy, well balenced family environment.
They spend their days happily and abandoned in their cosy, affectionate homes. Our new snapshots also reflect this harmony. We could not enjoy their nice successes without the devoted, indefatigable love of their breeders, Sabine Thalinger, Latin Karmen and Michi Mannie, and their constientious owners. I'm sincerely grateful to all of them as well as to Rufus for these peculiar little miracles!
