By his high intelligence and inventiveness Rufus became the leader of the pack soon. Having had a very strong personality, he always had his way as a real chief. He had great difficulty accepting the fact that there was a stronger will than his: his master's. After having gone through an intensive dog school lesson and learned basic behavioural tasks there, he became more disciplined and obedient. He was proved to be of endless energy, capable of romping around for one and a half, two hours, then after a short break he would start running and playing again. His mates couldn't always keep up to his stormy speed but he never gave up, stubbornly had his will, sometimes even at the expense of inevitable clashes. When getting into trouble he was “brainstorming” until he found the solution with which he could avoid danger. This little "terrorist chief", on the other hand, could flatter and court like a cat, some minutes later. By getting older he became more and more loyal and faithful.
He endured his nearly one and a half year-long, painful spinal complaint with dignity. On the 03rd of November, 2015 he left for heavenly fields for ever. Your unswerving, sharp personality is living on in our memories, and remains there forever!
